I have not always been a computer scientist. From Oct 2013-Oct 2014, I attended the (now defunct) Pacific Audio Visual Institute in Vancouver, a vocational school that trained students on the technical, behind-the-scenes skills that go into music production, recording, and engineering. I graduated with honours.

Adam Ibis

Most recently I have been making one-off tracks under a new alias, Adam Ibis. The name has a few neat properties: It abbreviates to A.I., anagrams to AI AI DBMS, and also has parallel morphological structure between its words; both words have two instances of the same vowel followed by two consonants. Further, the ‘d’ and ‘b’ are mirror images, and the ‘m’ and ‘s’ are close analogues to each other, each being formed by two curves.

Anyways, here’s the music:

Mosh

Between 2012 and 2016 I recorded 3 albums of electronic music under the pseudonym Mosh. My most popular song, McQueen, has been streamed over 2 million times on Spotify. My last album Tragic Anatomy is my personal favourite and represents 2 years of dedicated work.

My music can be downloaded for free here.

As Spotify seems to compress music when embedded in websites I highly recommend listening on Spotify itself.

In 2013 my good friend Hunter directed and filmed a music video for me. I am forever indebted to him for this kindness. Be warned that the video is quite violent and likely NSFW.

I have also had my music featured in a handful of commercials/podcasts/personal videos etc. The biggest of these was in a drifting video commissioned by Monster Energy and directed by Luke Huxham.
